What is NEMSA? The National EMS Academy or "NEMSA" exists to educate entry-level EMTs and paramedics. We provide continuing education and training for a number of EMS career pathways and collaborate with other organizations with similar interests.
Who makes it work? The full-time faculty and staff include 36 members with diverse backgrounds including prehospital emergency care, medical education, technology, research and support functions. Additional part-time adjunct faculty participate in curricula development and skills training.
Where are the classes? Each campus houses administrative offices, classrooms, skills practice and simulation rooms. All of our locations are connected via a video conferencing system that allows for real-time interaction between learners and faculty specializing in a specific course area and during lectures by visiting experts
