EMT is an entry-level position in the emergency medical services field. In 4 months, you can learn the skills you will need to work as part of a medical response team. EMTs provide basic emergency medical care and transportation to patients who access the EMS system. Medics make a difference, every day.

EMT Course Composition

Instruction, Practice, Clinical Time

  • Our Austin course meetings alternate between Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. (make sure to check with your instructor on which date you must attend.)

  • Our Beaumont courses meet from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Occasional Saturdays will be required at both site locations.
