Successful applicants will be hired as full-time employees of Acadian Ambulance Service and will get paid while enrolled in our Accelerated EMT Program.

Upon graduation and passing the EMT National Registry exam, you will work as an Acadian EMT in the Dallas area.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old before the date of the certification exam
  • Demonstrates a minimum standard of reading aptitude
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Desire to work on an excellent team and to help others
  • Physically able to perform the duties of an EMT
  • Verification of immunization records

Starting pay for EMTs is $30,888*, with an average annual compensation of $38,597*.

Starting pay for a Paramedic is $50,336*, with an average annual compensation of $62,898*.
