Why Choose Acadian?

Being an Acadian Ambulance EMS team member is more than just treating patients in an ambulance. Imagine working at festivals, sporting events, Mardi Gras celebrations and other exciting events while living in culturally rich and diverse areas like Memphis, Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Cajun Country or New Orleans. With our rapid growth and our six divisions, Acadian Ambulance offers unique and diverse career paths and opportunities for EMTs, paramedics, RNs, and LPNs.

All medics should be able to provide good clinical care. At Acadian, we value the hearts of our medics. From building ramps at patients’ homes to making sure their eyeglasses are clean, it’s the “little things” our medics do that are a “big deal” in taking exceptional care of our patients. At Acadian, you’ll make a difference in people’s lives in many different ways.

Beyond great pay, benefits and exceptional equipment, we care about your physical, emotional and mental health, your wellness and your work-life balance. If we take great care of you, we know you’ll take great care of our patients. We are committed to making constant improvements and advancements to make Acadian the absolute best EMS agency to work for in the United States.

We are a highly functioning team of individuals from all backgrounds, races, genders, sexual orientations and religions. We celebrate our diversity because it makes us a stronger, more caring company to work for.
