Yes, students must be a Nationally Registered EMT in the State of Louisiana to enroll in the paramedic program and complete Anatomy & Physiology (A&P) prerequisites. A&P courses are available through SLCC, and eligible transfer credits from accredited colleges and universities may also be accepted. For more information on our paramedic program, click here.
