No, hybrid EMT classes are not self-paced or independent study programs. While students complete some coursework online, the program follows a structured schedule with weekly assignments, quizzes, discussions, and required in-person skills sessions.
Students are expected to stay engaged, meet deadlines, and participate in all course activities. Full expectations and course requirements are outlined in the class syllabus.
