Timothy Dronet (TJ) named as National EMS Academy’s Employee of the Year

11/5/21—At the Acadian Companies virtual annual meeting, Operations Coordinator TJ Dronet was recognized as the National EMS Academy 2021 employee of the year. He was presented with his award by Director Taylor Richard.

Dronet has been with Acadian Ambulance since 2009. He earned his EMT certification from National EMS Academy and joined Acadian Ambulance. He went on to earn his paramedic and Critical Care Transport paramedic certifications. He worked in operations for 10 years before moving into an instructor role with National EMS Academy.

Dronet consistently demonstrates leadership by taking the initiative to develop and implement processes and improvements. He starts with the largest EMT class of any National EMS Academy campus and still looks to find ways to increase attendance. Dronet has never shied away from anything needed of him. His constant positive attitude and loyalty to the program are unmatched.

“TJ is a true model employee,” Paramedic Program Manager Gifford Saravia said. “To see the work he puts in everyday and his willingness to go the extra mile for his work and others is truly inspiring.”
