Richard has been with Acadian for 10 years, having served as a paramedic field supervisor and operations coordinator in North Texas before assuming his current role as operations manager in Ouachita Parish.

He is a member of Leadership Ouachita’s 32nd graduating class.

Richard holds an associate degree from SLCC and National EMS Academy, and is working toward his Bachelor of Science in Unified Public Safety Administration from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

National EMS Academy offers entry-level, continuing education and refresher courses for a number of EMS career pathways, including EMTs and paramedics. They are a nationally accredited EMS training facility with locations in Louisiana and Texas, and are an authorized American Heart Association Training Center for CPR and ECC courses.
