We have openings in our Louisiana service area for emergency medical responders. EMRs provide appropriate, efficient and timely prehospital basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with local, state, national and Acadian Ambulance standards of practice.

Each EMR will be paired with another medical provider with a minimum certification of EMT.

Not yet an EMR? We are offering an accelerated EMR program! This is a ten-day course that teaches you basic life support skills. Once the course is completed, the individuals will be hired as full-time employees through Acadian Ambulance Service. This class is currently offered in Louisiana.
