EMR/ECA Program
Emergency Medical Responder & Emergency Care Attendant
You have options before BECOMING an emt
We have openings to become either an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or an Emergency Care Attendant (ECA).
We have openings in our Texas service area for emergency care attendants. ECAs provide appropriate, efficient and timely prehospital basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with local, state, national and Acadian Ambulance standards of practice.
Each ECA will be paired with another medical provider with the minimum certification of EMT.
Not yet an ECA? We are offering an accelerated ECA program! This is a seven-day course that teaches you basic life support skills. Once the course is completed, the individuals will be hired as full-time employees through Acadian Ambulance Service. This class is currently offered in Texas.
